Annual conference 2019
The Programme’s second annual conference took place at the Wills Memorial Building at the University of Bristol on the 12th and 13th August 2019.
Keynote lectures were given by Professor Kevin Outterson, Executive Director, CARB-X on ‘Policy options for antimicrobial resistance’ and Professor Alison Holmes, Imperial College London, on ‘Patient pathways and prescribing contexts’
Forty eight PhD students gave 5 minute presentations on their PhD projects.

Prizes (sponsored by the Medical Research Foundation) for the best posters were won by Rebecca Devine (University of East Anglia), Jennifer Shelton (Centre for Ecology and Hydology), Sara Gardner (Ulster University) and Celia Souque (University of Oxford) and were presented by Prof Danny Altmann (Trustee, Medical Research Foundation).
